You were professional and personable, easy to work with and seemed to be as excited about this project as we were.
We wanted the kitchen and porch addition to look as though it was part of the original building plan and not something we just "added on." You listened to our ideas and came up with a plan to make that happen. I got the big southern porch that I've always wanted and B got his fireplace!
We appreciated that you came by everyday to check on the work being done and always answered our phone calls and responded to emails. The best comment we have gotten from those who have seen the "before" and "after," in addition to "WOW," is they would never know our home didn't always look this way. We are so pleased!

When Should I Call the Builder?
Sooner than Later!
...without a contractor’s input during design, the low-bid amount remains unknown until after the design is completed and bid...before they know if their project was designed on budget, under budget, or, as is too often the case, considerably over budget.

With a new baby on the way and few financial resources in the bank, we needed someone to help us remake an old garage into a livable space in a tight budget. A friend recommended Duff and Reconstruct to us, and I have been grateful since.
Duff worked closely with me in designing the space. He contracted with very talented and skilled workers who did timely work. He was a continued presence at my house, checking in with the workers and following the progress. Duff has an easy and hospitable manner, which is important in construction because of the inevitable anxiety in such work.
Duff worked with me at each point along the way, informing me of situations that might affect costs and informing me of ways I might save on cost as well. Today, an old garage is a new, nice study.
My only complaint is some baby spit-up on the floor, but that isn't Duff's fault.
